Get Started

Part of our patient advocacy often includes helping people get a diagnosis for symptoms that medical providers might not easily recognize. Whether you have heard of it yet or not, Ehlers-Danlos syndromes (EDS), especially hypermobile EDS (hEDS) or Hypermobile Spectrum Disorder (HSD), are among the most underdiagnosed, misunderstood, and misattributed conditions akin to multiple sclerosis with unknown origin and long diagnostic journeys. Led by Christie Cox, BCPA, an APHA member, author and advocate for the Ehlers-Danlos community.

This session has been approved for 1 General CE by the Patient Advocate Certification Board.
