The Weight-Neutral Advocate Training program is designed to educate patient advocates on how to support and advocate for patients of higher weight from a weight-neutral perspective. The program will cover the foundational concepts of weight stigma, the differences between weight-centric and weight-neutral paradigms, and special circumstances where patients may face challenges due to weight bias. Advocates will gain the skills and knowledge needed to effectively support and advocate for patients facing weight-related discrimination in healthcare settings.
